Week 2.

 Week 2: June 19th - June 25th, 2023

Welcome back! In Week 2 at Paper Pixel, I had the incredible opportunity to work on a project for Leela Hotels. Our task was to create a logo that would represent their new ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) initiative. The challenge was to develop a logo that had the potential to become a recognizable symbol in the future.

During these two weeks, I immersed myself in the creative process, exploring numerous sketches and concepts. With each iteration, I tried to narrow in on the essence of Leela Hotels' ESG initiative, seeking a design that would effectively communicate their commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and strong governance practices.

Through intensive brainstorming sessions and constructive feedback, we refined our ideas and gradually brought the logo to life.

One of the most valuable moments of this experience was the opportunity to observe my boss during a client meeting. Sitting in on this session allowed me to learn how to present work to clients. I absorbed valuable insights into effective communication, understanding client requirements, and aligning our creative vision with their brand identity.

I began to consider different mediums and platforms beyond the traditional paper and pen. Exploring digital tools, multimedia possibilities, and interactive elements, I aimed to push the boundaries of creativity and discover innovative ways to bring ideas to life.

As the project went on, I started to pay closer attention to the alignment between our concepts and Leela Hotels' brand identity. Understanding their core values, aesthetic preferences, and target audience became compulsory in ensuring that our logo design seamlessly integrated with their overall brand.

Week 2 was filled with creative exploration and skill development. The opportunity to work on a significant project for Leela Hotels broadened my horizons and provided invaluable experiences in the design industry, both in terms of conceptualization and client engagement.
