This week we enter into the world of sustainable office space design. This week's project led me to collaborate with Mahyco, a company dedicated to agricultural research and seed development since 1964. Mahyco's new office space provided a canvas for us to blend design with their core values of innovation and sustainable progress. Our challenge was to infuse the office environment with the essence of their work. We aimed to weave eco-friendly practices into every design decision. From impactful 3D wall installations that visually narrated Mahyco's journey, to elegant glass vinyl for office doors that symbolized transparency and open collaboration. This experience has deepened my understanding of design's power to shape not only physical spaces but also an organization's culture and values.

Week 3

Week 3 of my internship at Paper Pixel. This week's project is also focused on sustainability. Unlike my previous task centered around branding, this project challenged me to blend design aesthetics with eco-consciousness in space and environment design. Throughout the week, I immersed myself in concepts that went beyond visual appeal. I delved into using eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient layouts, and thoughtfully designed spaces that harmonize with nature.  Additionally, I had the privilege of engaging in a thoughtful discussion with my supervisors about the dynamics of the Indian design market. Their insights about balancing creativity with market trends gave me a clearer vision of what it takes to succeed in this industry. Stay tuned for more updates on my internship journey!

Week 2.

 Week 2: June 19th - June 25th, 2023 Welcome back! In Week 2 at Paper Pixel, I had the incredible opportunity to work on a project for Leela Hotels. Our task was to create a logo that would represent their new ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) initiative. The challenge was to develop a logo that had the potential to become a recognizable symbol in the future. During these two weeks, I immersed myself in the creative process, exploring numerous sketches and concepts. With each iteration, I tried to narrow in on the essence of Leela Hotels' ESG initiative, seeking a design that would effectively communicate their commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and strong governance practices. Through intensive brainstorming sessions and constructive feedback, we refined our ideas and gradually brought the logo to life. Over the next few weeks, I will share my experiences and insights gained during my internship at Paper Pixel, an environment design company in Andheri East, Mumbai. This internship opportunity has allowed me to dive into the world of environment design, a field of design I hadn't heard of before but was instantly interested in. Paper Pixel, founded by three professionals, is a dynamic company where creativity and business logistics seamlessly intertwine. Two of the founders bring their artistic prowess to the table, while the third excels in managing the strategic and operational aspects of the business.
